About the MangaKissa in Utrecht:
The MangaKissa is a manga library in the middle of Utrecht. We welcome visitors to read manga, play games in our gaming corner or pick up one of the many boardgames that are available. But the MangaKissa is more than just a library. We also host events on our location in Utrecht and during conventions: Silent library, kumihimo, Heartstone and Oculus Rift demos, to name a few.
There is always drawing material available and while on the road, we invite visitors to leave a doodle in our big book of awesomeness. In everything we do, the MangaKissa is here to promote the Japanese AudioVisual Culture in the Netherlands.

Need a break from the WinterWonder convention buzz? Visit the MangaKissa library to pick up your favorite manga for a cozy read in our warm library. Take a seat at our kumihimo bracelet workshop to warm your hands with crafting.
Challenge your senses with the Oculus Rift and if you need to warm up further, you can have a go at our rainbow twister mat. And don’t forget to leave your mark in our big book of awesomeness. Looking forward meeting you at this year’s edition of Nishicon!

Oculus Rift
Step into the Rift, visit the MangaKissa to experience the Oculus Rift first hand.
We have some fun demos ready for you to try and set your first steps in the world of Virtual Reality.
We will have a setup with both the visor and hand controllers.
Kumihimo Workshop
The Japanese art of braiding using special discs that allow you to create a really cool braided bracelet in a pinch. During this workshop all materials are provided and experienced guidance is available.
The workshop is open all afternoon, so pop in when you feel like it and take a seat!
Costs: Adopter of the MangaKissa FREE, Non-Adopter 2 euro.
Rainbow Twister
The physical variant of twister! Sign up with your friends and prepare to place your hands and feet not only on unicorns, nyancats or fluffy bunnies, but also on your friends themselves. Prove that your team is the most touchy-feely!
